BOQ Estimator pricing
Try one file a day for free. Subscribe when BOQs arrive every week. All plans run the same checks; the plans differ in how many files you convert and how long each can be. A paid plan is a page code, not an account.

How paid access works. Pro and Team are monthly subscriptions. The subscribe button opens PayPal checkout for that plan; once you approve it, PayPal brings you back to this page, and we email you a page code from [email protected]. Each renewal tops up the same code. The code holds the plan's allowance counted in pages: 60 files x up to 150 pages = 9,000 pages a month on Pro, 250 x 150 = 37,500 on Team. Enter it once in the box below and it stays in this browser; on Team, enter the same code in each estimator's browser.
The code is only drawn on when the free allowance cannot cover a file: the file is over 10 pages, or the day's free file is already used. Files up to 150 pages convert in full. Unused pages roll over and never expire, and cancelling keeps the pages you have already paid for. Allow a few minutes for the email and check your spam folder; for help, reply to it or write to [email protected].
Page cap. Files over 10 pages are converted up to page 10 on the free allowance; a page code converts the whole file, up to 150 pages. A 300-page tender is over the current 150-page cap, so it goes in as two or more parts split at a bill or section boundary. Each part is checked against its own subtotals. See the steps below.
In plain terms
What you pay for
- A BOQ conversion
- One PDF file turned into its items, sections and tie-out, with the Items CSV, Sections CSV and Excel workbook to download.
The plans limit how many conversions you can run in a month and how long each file may be. They do not change what the checks do. A paid plan is metered in pages, so a short bill takes fewer pages from the code than a full 150-page one and the allowance stretches further than the headline file count. Samples and pasted rows are processed in your browser and never count against any allowance.

Over the cap
Converting a 300-page tender
-
Find the bill boundaries
Open the PDF and note where each bill or section starts: the page where a heading such as "Bill 3" or "3.0 Masonry" begins, and the page where its collection ends. Splits should fall between bills, not inside one.
-
Split the PDF into parts under the page cap
Use any tool that can extract a page range, or "Print to PDF" with a page range. Keep each part at or under 150 pages. A 300-page tender becomes two or three parts.
-
Convert each part
Each part takes its own page count from the code, so a 300-page tender in two parts uses 300 of the 9,000 pages a month on Pro. Each part is checked against its own subtotals, so the tie-out stays meaningful.
-
Join the results in Excel
Copy the rows of each Items sheet under the previous one, keeping section names unchanged. Then check the combined item count against the sum of the parts and, where there is one, the tender's summary page.

FAQ
Questions about plans and limits
What does the free allowance include?
1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account. The two built-in samples, and rows you paste into the converter, are read in your browser and use none of the allowance.
What do I get with Pro?
Pro is $99 a month: 60 BOQs a month, files up to 150 pages, and CSV and XLSX downloads. It is delivered as a page code holding 60 x 150 = 9,000 pages a month; each renewal adds the next 9,000 to the same code, and unused pages roll over and never expire. The checks and flags are the same as on the free allowance; what changes is how many files you can convert and how long they can be.
What do I get with Team?
Team is $249 a month for 5 seats and 250 BOQs a month, shared: one page code holding 250 x 150 = 37,500 pages a month, topped up at each renewal. A seat is a browser: enter the same code in each estimator's browser and all 5 draw on the one balance. It suits an estimating department that sees tenders from several people.
What is a page code, and how are pages counted?
A page code is the balance of pages your subscription has paid for, with no account or login. Enter it once in "Have a page code?" and it stays in that browser; you can enter the same code in another browser or on another computer, and they all draw on the same balance.
A file is converted on the free allowance when it fits (1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account). When it does not, because the file is over 10 pages or the day's free file is already used, the file's pages come off the code and the result shows how many pages are left. Files up to 150 pages convert in full. Unused pages roll over and never expire.
What happens to a file longer than 10 pages?
Files over 10 pages are converted up to page 10 on the free allowance; a page code converts the whole file, up to 150 pages.
A long file is not refused. When a result covers only the first pages, a notice above the tables says how many pages were converted out of how many, and the downloads end in "-partial" (for example "tender-items-partial.csv"), so a partial export is never mistaken for the full one.
Why is there a 150-page cap when some tenders run to 300 pages?
Long files take longer to convert, and the current cap is 150 pages per file. A 300-page tender is over it, so split the PDF at a bill or section boundary and convert the parts. Each part takes its own page count from the code and is checked against its own subtotals, and you join the Items sheets afterwards in Excel.
How do I split a PDF at a bill boundary?
Any PDF tool that can extract a page range will do, including the print dialog on most computers ("Print to PDF" with a page range). Split where one bill or section ends and the next begins, so each part carries its own "Carried to Collection" pages and its checks stay meaningful.
How do I subscribe?
Use the subscribe button on the plan you want. It opens PayPal checkout for that plan; once you approve the monthly subscription, PayPal brings you back to this page. The page code arrives by email from [email protected] within a few minutes (check your spam folder if it has not come). Enter it once in "Have a page code?" and it stays in this browser.
If checkout cannot be started at that moment, this page says so; then email [email protected] with the plan name and we will reply with the next step.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel the subscription in PayPal whenever you like. No further pages are added, and the pages already on your code stay there until you have used them: they do not expire. For help with a subscription, write to [email protected].
The email with the code has not arrived. What now?
Allow a few minutes after paying. The email comes from [email protected], so check your spam folder and any filter on "noreply" senders. If it still has not arrived, write to [email protected] with your PayPal receipt and we will send the code.
Are Excel downloads limited to paid plans?
No. Items CSV, Sections CSV and the Excel workbook are available on every plan. The plans differ in how many files you can convert and how many pages each file can have.
Is my BOQ stored or used to train anything?
Files are processed in memory and deleted after conversion, and uploads are not used for training. Pages that need a second look may be sent to Google's Gemini API, which can keep that data for up to 55 days under Google's terms. The privacy page has the full list of sub-processors.
What if a conversion looks wrong?
Check the flags first: they name the item or page behind each difference. Compare the red rows with the PDF, and if the converter has misread a table, email the page range and what you expected to [email protected]. Remember that the tie-out checks arithmetic against the document; it does not check the measurement itself.
Which currency are the prices in?
Plan prices are in US dollars. The converter itself is currency-neutral: it reads whatever symbol the BOQ uses (£, $, €) and carries the figures through unchanged.
